If you're looking to add bold drama and lush, tropical vibes to your garden, ‘Starry Starry Night’ is the one. This is our darkest-foliaged hibiscus yet, with stunning near-black, maple-shaped leaves that bring a moody richness to your garden landscape.

When midsummer rolls around, get ready for a floral performance you won’t forget: huge 7–8” pale pink blooms with darker pink speckles and delicate veining. These flowers pop against the deep foliage and are held on bright green stems—creating a striking contrast from top to bottom of the plant.

Why You’ll Love It:

  • Reaches 3.5–4 ft tall and wide – a perfect statement shrub

  • Full sun to part shade

  • Blooms from midsummer through early fall

  • Attracts butterflies and supports pollinators

  • Deer resistant and fast-growing

  • A North American native with serious wow-factor

Garden Tips for Success:
Hibiscus love warmth, sunshine, and moist, well-drained soil. Keep them watered to enjoy bigger, lusher blooms. Plant in spring before peak heat, and mulch well the first winter. In spring, don’t worry if it’s slow to wake up—it’s always fashionably late but grows quickly once it gets going. (An inch a day, seriously!) A quick trim before new growth appears will keep it tidy. And heads up: Japanese beetles find this plant irresistible, so be prepared if they’re in your area.

✨ Whether you’re revamping your landscape or just adding a splash of late-season color, ‘Starry Starry Night’ will shine as your garden’s grand finale.
